For the film 'Midway', Johannes collaborated with Roland Emmerich on action previz and the title animation. Utilizing 3D animation software, they established scenes, angles, and camera specifics, which were then translated by Johannes and his team into over 1,200 storyboard panels. Building on his previous title design collaborations on '2012' and 'White House Down', Johannes once again took charge of the title designs for 'Midway'.
